Spotify links don’t work now

Think it’s because it says “link” now. Not sure it did before.

Test.

It’s only when sharing links from mobile, and it’s a Discourse problem because other services still resolve the link.

e.g. here is a classic album with the link shared from Spotify Desktop

I can’t see anyone complaining about it on Meta Discourse surprisingly.

So I could replace the “link” bit with the other one and it’ll work?

Unfortunately not, it looks like it uses a different hash. The only option you really have until this is fixed is to only share the album Crocodile Shoes by Jimmy Nail.

To get the open.spotify.com link on mobile you need to go to ‘more’ on the share menu rather than ‘copy link’.
