Is there a non-cheat way to acquire duck feathers? If one has say, an enormous amount of ducks, 15 - and 3 years in, without any. What would one do?

do no enjoy it when I’m collecting up my mayonnaise and accidentally click too much and before I can say no to “do you want to drink duck mayonnaise?” I’m stood there in the field chugging it down

You’ve reminded me of a time I intended to give my “roommate” Krobus some void mayonnaise. But I was slightly to far away and ended up drinking said void mayo and dropping dead at my shadowy lovers feet.

Absolutely this, word for word.
Spent quite a lot of effort getting perfection, don’t really recommend it. Unless you particularly like churning out kegs and rare fruit wine for hours on end.
Just started up another save for the update, there’s not a huge amount different so far but what there is is nice. However there is a button in the entrance to the skull cavern and I am desperate to know what it does. But i WILL NOT GOOGLE.

I’m in the same place as every time this game comes up. Actually, the same place for a second time. Get about 10 hours in, maybe into summer, then just drift away from it. First time out I was too stressed with all the things to do and the limited days. Second time I was more relaxed (I mostly fished) but then struggled with the lack of structure. It’s all very charming but lots of it is very opaque and I don’t have the patience to wade through wikis. Like, I like the fishing, but I don’t know where or when to catch the ones I need for the community centre.
Might go back to it, I do like the vibes, but feel like there’s so much else I could do.
Yeah, this was my experience with it too. I think if/when I get a Switch it’ll be one I go back to then - as I can imagine enjoying it on a journey or for half an hour downstairs in between tv shows. But going upstairs to the spare room where my playstation is, firing that up and investing the time required for something like this doesn’t feel like an option right now.
…haha yes…me too… not spending 7 hours in one day frantically creating kegs and harvesting strawberries…

the no save points except when you sleep is a bit of a killer tbh
Another cheaper option to play it mobile is on a retro handheld emulator, anything that runs postmaster will play it, just install postmaster download stardew valleys port master files to get all the libraries it needs, buy the Linux version of the game and drop the files into the folder

edit: think you can move save files from other versions across except the switch.
Not sure if the latest 1.6 version works, seen mixed reports, i’m running 1.56 as i’ve still got stuff to do (cinema and ginger island), will look into whether 1.6 works after that and start a fresh game

I started a new farm last night after nearly a year off… I haven’t even explored the 1.6 content properly yet.
I’ve forgotten quite a lot, although it’s slowly coming back to me, having this break was really nice because I’m rediscovering the magic of the game again.
I’m so excited to go home and play again.
