I’m in a Succession group chat where there was speculation as to whether this is how they write in Sanah Snook’s real life pregnancy
I did notice she was drinking water at the wedding
I’m just not sure succession would feel the need to do that though. Would be too obvious.
When they went into the private room on the boat, the way Roman reached out to hug Conor’s arm was so incredibly real, I lost it
how long ago were they filming/would she even have been showing at the time? She said she was 32 weeks along at the premiere. Do we think they were still filming like right up to 2-3 months ago? I got no idea - either on timescales or how long it would be until she was unequivocally, obviously pregnant-looking.
The fact that the pace of this felt near real time for a lot of it really added to the tension, masterfully done.
Just an exceptional episode of tv
I had no idea about anything in advance, that was a fucking amazing episode of tv. Holy shit
thought the reveal of this was so lovely, genuinely felt happy for them, which is mad when you consider the wider context of the episode ha

couldn’t stop thinking about this though
christ
Dramaturgically
so is the implication that kerry leaked it?
(if that’s even of any significance)
Very bad episode to watch having just spent the day in hospital visiting someone in intensive care…
Was just about to post this, love stuff like this on their process and how it’s all put together, wish they’d do it with every episode
Still really fancy Gerri. Fuck off.
Connor’s stuff has been fascinating these past two episodes.
Because he had accepted the likely truth, that Logan didn’t love him, he was in a much better place to deal with what happened, and move forwards with his life.
Not only that, but I think in the karaoke scene a part of the reason Connor feels so estranged from the other siblings is because, unlike Logan, I think they do care for him deeply. Connor has been a better dad to them than Logan was - but he isn’t this powerful and terrifying figure, so Ken/Roman/Shiv don’t know how to interact with him. They’re too stunted to comfortably express love to people they care about.
If any of them suddenly died - Connor wouldn’t know if they loved him or not, and based on this, he would likely think that they didn’t. I hope that the trio realise this is the impact of treating people horribly, and that they need to break from Logan’s habits as much as they can. Whether one or any of them will come to that realisation is tough to say.

Was kind of having palpitations watching this episode. Can’t be right…
