Taskmaster Series 21 - He's so famous!

Give it one point

Actually give 1 point to Amy, fuck Yorkshire

Amy getting Poppy Hillstead and Chris Cantrill involved in the same episode as if she’s building her own shadow line-up.

Fantastic idea to write this article just as they’ve gone huge in America. Really smart.

Ha, yeah.

I’m not sure what the deal is with US YouTube, but in Austria (and presumably EU), all episodes are uploaded on broadcast day for free, and all previous series are available in full as well, plus champion of champions etc. Only thing is they edit out the ad break intros, I think.

If they are just breaking US, the new fans will have everything available immediately for free (again, if it’s the same as Europe). Presumably, this would also have a potentially massive effect on comedians in the show touring there as well.

also has he not seen the New Years ones, they are CONSIDERABLY worse when the contestants aren’t funny

His suggestion is to take the tasks away from the house and get them happening amongst the general public. That’s literally the only problem they identified in the early series with the high 5 a 55 year old and order a pizza tasks and deliberately moved away from it!

For non comedian contestants he wants to see Mary Berry or Mary Beard.

Can’t wait to see the intense physical challenges taken on by 91 year old Mary Berry.

This is why I don’t entirely buy the “on the wind-up/clickbait” thing, because everything I’ve seen about this article makes it seem just plain idiotic, and also I understand they ran a “Taskmaster is tired and needs axing” article during the last series that everyone loved.

I love that she rang Chris. The guy’s a diamond.

Enjoyed this too

I would absolutely love to go and do a pub quiz with Joanna Page

she’s not even in any way a comedian, she’s just funny because she’s welsh

Sounds like Channel 4 are rebooting Alex’s sort-of-Taskmaster-for-families-at-home BBC1 flop The Button.
