This is a truly great group. That blend of great on their own but mix well. Armando tries enough so it doesn’t bring things down. The reveal of the horse!

Is this recent trend of getting US comedians on to grow their overseas audience?
Think its because it started taking off in America during covid and they just want to be on the show because they’re all making a loss doing the show (the americans)

It can’t hinder the YouTube audience reach, but Alex has said both Kumail and Jason are huge fans who asked to be on and paid their own way. Paul F Tompkins has been a vocal fan of the series for years and did the podcast but he’s not on MCU/sitcom star money and even a Channel 4 audience is far less likely to have heard of him.

Pretty sure he would do it if asked though. He does come here a decent amount for standup or Comedy Bang Bang tours. Really want him to do it, but would be worried he wouldn’t be that good as he would be himself rather than a character.
I don’t think they need to try and grow it, isn’t YouTube a bigger audience than C4 already?
