When people are singing to the camera and they talk during the intro and then as soon as they’ve finished talking they come in with the lyrics without any gap and I’m not ready. It’s impressive but I’m not ready

Albums being way too long.
Infinite content, streaming and the low cost of high quality home recording has made artists into poor editors. Just give me a 30-45 minute collection of your best work that holds together well.

I’m actually seeing that trend as going the other way. There are a lot more albums hitting the 39 minute sweet spot for a vinyl pressing - unlike the glory days of CDs with bloated 70 minute albums.

Great if it does, but I’m still seeing way too much stuff in the new releases thread that I enjoy, but is just too long. Maybe it’s more the digital only releases?
Was happy to see the three big highlights of yesterday in Kim Gordon, ELUCID and Ora Cogan coming in at 29, 31 and 37 minutes respectively. All really tight, quality albums.

Not an issue, what is an issue is meta data for guest and features
You don’t really get the mid career double, or triple album, acts would do to try and get out of their record label contract earlier
The three hours Necks album is 3 hours too short, not sure what you are on about
