We’ve got exactly this variety growing next to our porch. Our next door neighbour ripped them to shreds one year because they were flopping her way and she is very much a concrete front garden sort of person, but Mrs F worked her charm on her and now we’re all at peace with the fuchsia situation.

They’re pretty, low maintenance, hard to kill, nicely scented and good for wildlife. That’s a pretty good haul for a garden shrub.
