I changed my tv provider here solely so I could get itv4 and switch to them when Carlton is on.
….
But the tour is geo-blocked here on itv4, just comes up with a a screen saying this programme is not available in your region 
I have all my bike racing stuff on Twitter saved onto a Twitter list, and when the grand tours are on I unfollow them all so I can avoid spoilers and just check the list if I want to see something 
(If anyone knows of a better way to avoid spoilers let me know)

If you have Eurosport in a way that lets you use the app, you can change the commentary to a different language, I think.

I have Eurosport the actual tv channel, and the gcn app.
Think it might be on tg4 (in Irish) as well, must be worth a try above Kirby

This is a good approach. I went with pausing the Twitter app on Android so when it prompted about resuming I’d remember I was trying to avoid race spoilers.
