In for this too. :O)

Just bought a ticket for this year’s Live at Leeds.
Looks a good line-up. Just hope they don’t completely over-sell tickets, meaning you have little chance to see any of the good bands in the evening… I already know they’ll over sell tickets and I won’t get in anywhere decent in the evening…

A few years ago, I saw, within less than 24 hours of each others, The Wurzels (supporting British Sea Power) and Bob Dylan.

These threads are always good for spotting stuff that you might otherwise have missed.

That said, not actually got that much lined up so far this year…

January
Plaid @ Hackney Echoes
The Fall/Future Of The Left/Girl Band/Hookworms @ The Forum
BLACK SABBATH @ The O2

February
Julian Cope @ The Roundhouse

April
Soulwax @ Electric Brixton

May
Swans @ The Roundhouse

June
Depeche Mode @ The Olympic Stadium

July
Latitude Festival

Considering - Blanck Mass, Chelsea Wolfe, True Widow, Dandy Warhols. Plus, whatever £2.50 ticket day throws up.

Usually have the Sunday of Field Dy pencilled in, but now that it’s back to being a one day affair this year will probably give it a miss.

Where and when are Helmet playing?

I’ve got…

Dillinger Escape Plan @ QMU
The Hotelier @ Stereo
Oathbreaker @ Broadcast
Touche Amore @ Stereo
UNDO @ Hug & Pint
Cloud Nothings @ Stereo
Deftones @ SECC

Totally selfish, but gutted to be missing Los Campesinos, Deafheaven and Japandroids while I’m away on holiday.

@hanshotfirst

sorry for delayed response…

They’re playing The Cathouse(!!!) on 12th March.

Actually The Cathouse seems to be their go-to venue in Glasgow. One of those venues where you really need to get there early to get a decent spot.

We’ve got bugger all booked, need to get on it… Literally the only gigs so far are Rival Consoles at Village Underground and Part Chimp/Hey Colossus at the 100 Club.

The cupboard is pretty bare for me:

Fotl & the fall etc at the forum
Hey collosus in reading
Alastair Roberts in reading
Safe as milk festival in north Wales
Red rooster festival in Suffolk
End of the road in Dorset

Sweet, cheers. My birthday weekend

VERY HYPED to see Sunn O))) at the Barbican in March and Deafheaven in April.
No others lined up as of yet but determined to go to more concerts this year.

Just booked to see Spectres perform the new album in full at the Cube, Bristol 4/3.

I’ll be there too.

I’ll be standing awkwardly somewhere nursing a pint (assuming they sell them).

What’s the set up like in there? I haven’t been to the Cube before.

It’s ace. An old cinema with a capacity of about 100. Sound variable but usually good. Great bar run by volunteers and cosy garden too. One of the best places in town for sure.
