This month I did a lot of rewatching.
My MMotM from first time watches was the payoff of Blow Out though for sure. Very dark, very good joke.

MMOTM - when Pierce Brosnan is shown at the end of Thursday Murder Club in a West Ham top and you realise the 1000 accents he was doing throughout was meant to be cockney
These are some of the worst screenshots I’ve seen this quarter.
Cropping a shambles, layout a nightmare. Awful stuff.
had a good month, i watched some good movies and also war of the worlds
best: high and low
worst: war of the worlds
movie moment of the month: in the line of fire when john malkovich gets past security that were specifically on the lookout for john malkovich, by disguising himself as john malkovich
“I half-watched a load of absolute shite whilst second screening and thought it was good and did the same for a few masterpieces which I thought were shit”
My impression of Teckers
Watched a fair few in August!
MMOTM: The image of Bonnie Blue making a ‘snow angel’ in the collection of used condoms on the floor.
mmotm: torn between Steve McQueen’s bike tricks in The Great Escape (1963) and Mozart’s gay little laugh in Amadeus (1984)
I didn’t watch much and what I watched, not great!!!
mmotd: a gurney flying out the doors of an ambulance for laughs in the front page or the special effects in lurkers
@The_TRU_Imposter bought a ticket to see Magnolia for the first time in a couple weeks, are you proud of me yet?
might also get to Boogie Nights, but might have to hang out with friends instead? Rude
don’t think I’ve been more sure of anything this year than the fact that @TKC wouldn’t get on with Sorry Baby (not seen)
Not as good as Bowfinger, apparently.
Its alright but its just your completely bog standard A24 film where nothing happens but its begging for awards, this one actually had a couple of jokes which were alright so it wasn’t quite a stinker
started fast and dropped off
Watched: 8 new, 2 rewatches
Best: Nosferatu (1922), Misper
Worst: Disturbing Behaviour
MMOTM: the Highest 2 Lowest parade scene, effortless cinema from Spike
I’ve always been proud of you
I had a pretty good month that just about fits onto one screen.
I was hoping to get lots of compliments from @The_TRU_Imposter for the quality of my screenshot but the photo editor isn’t working properly for some reason so it’s middling.
My MMOTM was definitely the soundtrack on Manhunter
Dismal month for me, need to get back on the movie train in September. I also have a half finished Hot Spring Shark Attack to log, but the fact that it’s been half finished for a week probably tells you all you need to know about that
MMOTM: the photo popping out of the machine and gently falling to the floor after the final gunfight in Exiled
Explain yourself. @The_TRU_Imposter
I don’t really like it that much. It has some amazing scenes but I don’t think it really hangs together (by design tbf) and I also think it is one of the only films of theirs that does actually feel condescending to the characters (which is a common criticism of theirs that I usually disagree with)
