Looks like I’m going to be doing some “watch from the start” catchup for some of the teatime matches this week
I’ll try and avoid spoilers on the way home from work which should be easy enough, but putting myself at the mercy of the itv player is more risky

Has he been on much? Swear the last time I saw him after the opening game was doing a piece about grassroots football in one of the New York parks.

Is there any chance at all that the Paraguayans remove Germany’s collective trousers somehow? Feels like they’re the team in the whole tournament I know least about.

Paraguay’s home record in CONMEBOL qualifying was really good, 6 wins 2 draws 1 defeat. They beat Argentina and Brazil and only lost 1-0 to Colombia. And the 3 games they lost away were all 1-0.
Surely they’ve got a good chance if they can keep it tight ie. don’t do what they did vs USA and concede in the first 10 mins.

Could possibly see Paraguay doing Germany, it’ll be a close one either way. Don’t think Japan will have enough for Brazil though, sadly. I’m not that convinced by Morocco this time round and think Netherlands will win relatively comfortably - looking forward to being wrong on all three counts.

I think I’ll only get to see La Albirroja play today, hopefully they beat Germany.
Brazil vs. Japan is on during dinner time and my family have no interest in football and the other game is too late for me.

Weird one for me tonight as im back on earlies tomorrow so will watch Brazil vs Japan no bother, want to watch Germany but will need to be in bed and should really be sleeping but might not be in the rhythm anyway, but then can catch the end of Netherlands vs Morocco on my way to work.
