This hurts because he’s originally from Tales of The Borderland and he is a very very good character in that - but gearbox as usual decide to ruin everything with their awful writing.
See also: Rhys who was also a 3 dimensional character that had hours of character development and growth boiled down to someone in love with their facial hair the moment Gearbox take over the writing.
Gearbox games have the worst fucking writing. Tales from The Borderlands is IMHO opinion the best Teltale game of all time - itt’s fantastic I play it once a year and love every single one of the core characters - they even made Handsome Jack a compelling character!!! And then to see gearbox take this group of characters that I enjoy spending time with and play their story every bloody year usually tto cheer myself up after a rough period and see them go through the zany writing of Gearbox is depressing. I should go into gearbox HQ and destroy every typing/writing instrument in the office and hope they take the hint
