We’re going, I’ve never been before. It’s my little sisters 30th and Thrice are playing her favourite Thrice album.
We’re glamping but I’m not sure which of the three options we’ll go for. Has anyone glamped before? Which has the best/closest toilet facilities?
You’ll have an excellent time, as @TKC said, it’s quite a small site, so you’ll have no trouble getting to places and as it’s all one arena, you can bring booze in with you, result!
It’s no cash there as well so you have a wristband you preloaded with cash and use that, which is decent and you can top it up at the fest too.
I’ve been from 2017 to 2019 and it’s always been amazing, great atmosphere, lovely people, top food trucks and definitely do the silent disco, so much fun. Also, look out for the Reuben singalong too, that’s ace.
There’s a woodland area for acoustic stuff you can chill out in too, we’ll worth doing to reenergise.
Only thing that was a bit off about 2019, was only 1 water point and the toilets weren’t as good as they usually were. Hopefully they’ll remedy that in 2022. The previous years both these things were much better. Oh, and phone signal and be a bit dodgy too.
All in all, it’s a cracking festival for just over 100 quid, probably won’t be going for a while due to life changes, but one day I’ll go back.
Just one, I guess they wanted me to encourage friends to buy tickets. I think I won it for saying I was excited to see Blood Command, so I did deserve thr ticket, imo.
I would like to go! Just thought if they made a mistake then id rather open the ticket back to someone who really wants to go as opposed to me who would like to but isnt too fussed. Think we’re doing arctangent this year instead
From what I remember, there aren’t any kid-specific activities and there were a lot of very rowdy drunk/high people but I last went 10 years ago so that may have changed.
