Also I’ve posted about it in the Gaming thread (and only got into it because someone posted a random link, I subscribed and then listened to it weeks and weeks later), but the Back Page is funnier than most podcasts that are primarily comedy-based

I’m after more reco’s for podcasts
Tried Off Menu recently and it’s decent enough I think
Still v much enjoying Elis James and John Robins current BBC Sounds one and working back through all their old XFM ones which are great. Think I’m aware of most of their other podcasts now.
Still enjoying RHSLTP and Adam Buxton’s one though the later has gone quiet sadly.
I’ve also tried Stuart Goldsmith’s Com’s Com and Paul Chowdhry Pudcast
Any more reco’s in the vein of the above?

Three Bean Salad is good if you enjoy a couple of comedians talking absolute nonsense for just under an hour
reminds me a bit of the old Adam & Joe ones
Brain Cigar was great if you like a more sketch-based thing (very in the vein of Chris Morris’ radio shows, which makes sense seeing as one pf BC was one of the collaborators on his old Radio 1 show and a writer for Jam, Brass Eye, etc.)

It might occasionally be on Sounds when they repeat it
But because the series was released again by Warp Records a few years ago, you can buy it from Bleep
Also, the prospect in one of the later episodes of “the funeral critic from the Sunday Times” is cut from the exact beautifully absurd cloth as On the Hour
Yeah it’s on Sounds sometimes but not currently, but like a lot of archive stuff I’ve discovered it’s now available on Acast (unofficially I presume as they always have these circle logos)
Alexei Sayle’s podcast wildly swings in terms of format. Really liking the ones where he just chats with people like Stewart Lee and Josie Long though.
The latter has just made me cackle out loud at
