Bros documentary - BBC4/iplayer

My TV was saying this too but I can’t see it myself.

No one could ever write the conkers bit. That is not an idea it is possible to come up with.

Nor the bit of the drummer claiming Led zeppelin were one of his main influences

Then the two members of Bros are the most iconic comedy duo of all time . Actors would kill to have their timing

Will see how this goes but still don’t think the doc has reminded people how much they loved Bros first time round, more made them laugh at some chumps they had forgotten about. The latter doesn’t really lead to £100 tickets for gigs.

"“When will I, will I be famouuus!”
"“You’ve been amazing, thankyou, goodnight!”

Made the mistake of putting it on for my parents. They’re not laughing  they’re taking it seriously!!

I swear the funniest line in all the Brian Pern programmes was “Oh please don’t make me go on The Wright Stuff”.

You can’t even have Christmas any more, and if you do you have to wear goggles.

Watched the Bros doc back-to-back with Roma for New Years Eve the other year because I was at home ill. Might make it make an annual tradition (just the Bros film)

Really like BBC positioning the doc as a Christmas film, like The Wrong Trousers or something. It just makes sense doesn’t it?
