You might be able to edit people’s posts for 1 minute after they go live. I’m not sure.

Has this change got anything to do with the edit function on our own posts disappearing?

Still seem to be able to edit.

But can I still edit after 6 minutes? Seems so.

Not sure whether users with a certain level can still edit or if it’s back for everyone.

Lots of people seem to be saying they can’t. Maybe it is for under the regular level that it has gone?

I was just going by what people were saying elsewhere and assumed it had gone. Maybe it hasn’t for regulars?

Quite annoying for that to just change, remember there being really lengthy discussions over what people wanted with being able to edit their own posts and the 10 minute time frame being settled on

Also the visible edit history has gone

That is a tough one - for one aspect it is good not to have it when someone accidentally put details they want rid of, but then if it is there then there is transparency to prevent shenanigans

@admins please can you return the 10 minute edit funtion on your own posts to be returned to all level 2 users?

maybe it would be wise to have a conversation with the admins or at least let them know what you’re doing? each time you just change settings it causes a bunch of confusion and i’m sure work for the admins when everyone asks them what is going on.

There is a 60 second grace period currently in the settings, meaning that any edits made within the first 60 seconds of posting will not show up in the edit history. Any edits after 60 seconds should still show up. Please let me know if this is not the case.

Should be ok, idk if sean has changed it back but it’s set to 10 min, just checked. Please let me know if it still doesn’t work.
