  1. Angeline Morrison - Sorrow Songs: Folk Songs of the Black British Experience

  2. Arctic Monkeys - The Car

  3. Gilla Band - Most Normal

  4. Martha - Please Don’t Take Me Back

  5. Loraine James - Building Something Beautiful for Me

I really recommend anyone to give the Angeline Morrison album a listen - it’s a beautiful and important record.

Still not got round to the AA Williams or Dry Cleaning records and expect to love both of them too.

Interested to hear what you think of the new A.A. Williams, definitely a much heavier sounding album than FB but I think it’s incredible.

I’ve only bought/listened to 3 new albums this month, but they’ve all been crackers. Here they are in order of preference (but this was very difficult).
