I bought two tickets to see Dadi Freyr at Oslo in London on the 2nd Dec (will probs get pushed back who knows) but he’s just announced a Bristol show in April so imma go to that instead - if anyone wants the tickets for face value do let me know.
Really enjoyed the Eurovision film, wasn’t especially funny but was very sweet and had a genuine affection for Eurovision, with lots of decent songs. McAdams was great as ever, but Dan Stevens was a revelation, properly hilarious. Got annoyed at some minor errors regarding Eurovision structure, and I wonder how on earth any of it comes across to, say, an American who has no idea about Eurovision, but still well worth watching.
Also, Piers Brosnan is so sexy

Really enjoyed the film too, nice to see something that shops affection for the contest and plenty of easter eggs for the fans.
No idea why they chose Ray of Light for the singalong mind

What an enjoyable film huh? Not great but a very good ‘looking at your phone a bit’ film. Dan Stevens? Who knew he had that in him?!
Was a surprisingly good replacement for not having it on this year. The songs were all spot on. Even got to enjoy a bit of points action.

They missed a trick not launching it the day the 2020 final was due to be on. Perfect amount of trashiness in this and it was way more fun than the weird ‘celebration’ that was cobbled together.

It was supposed to be, but EBU pushed it back presumably so that the replacement show got the limelight (for better or worse).
