Glastonbury 2025

Look at him. It’s his festival, every other act is just a sideshow.

Rare Rod Stewart W

Best line up in the four years I’ve been by miles, I reckon. And a long way better than last year

Wow the entire pyramid stage line up is shit

Neil Young, Burning Spear, CMAT, John Fogerty, Pulp, Olivia Rodrigo and Chic all make it marginally better than normal imo. The Pyramid stage is always terrible?

Also among other DiS friendly acts I’ll be trying to catch on the main stages are Ichicko Aoba, Nilufer Yanya, TVOTR, Greentea Peng, Father John Misty, Deftones, Weezer, Goat, The Ohsees, Wolf Alice, John Glacier, Horsegirl, Denzel Curry, Pinkpantheress, Four Tet, Japanese Breakfast, Beth Gibobns…

There is an insane amount of good stuff on imo.

Didn’t realise it’s always the shit stage…guessing the tba act on the Friday is pulp?

Don’t get me wrong, there’s loads of acts im looking forward to catching up on - just none of those headliners.

Patchwork on Saturday are more or less confirmed as Pulp. Only a 1 hour set, but hopefully nothing but bangers and a great sunny evening vibe

Depends on personal taste obviously, but I’ve not been there much in the few years I’ve been. It’s mostly slightly dodgy, vaguely household names for boomers who won’t make it to the other stages, in my personal experience

Oooh okay I didn’t know that thx

It all comes down to what happens when you’re there, but yeah on paper I think this is the strongest for me personally since the mega bonanza of 2022. Combo of there being just loads of stuff I’m into and very few clashes for my must sees.

But having that said that, last year was probably the least interesting to me on paper in a long time, but then once I was there I got surprised by loads of really amazing stuff that I hadn’t planned or just wandered into for the sake of it.

Oh shit Glastonbury’s been put on notice by Sir Beer Korma

Hard to see how the fest comes back from this

How is the leader of the Labour party coming out and giving an uplifting progressive speech a few years ago, such a distant memory :unamused:

Bored of all the pundits/journos saying how this is all Starmer maneuvering in reaction to Reform blah blah blah. It’s just who he fucking is, was and has always been.

It’s simultaneously a really good lineup with loads of stuff I’d be delighted to see, and a pretty bang average line up cos there’s not much I’m gutted to miss.

I don’t think it’s a bad line up dgmw, I’m just not bowled over by it and I don’t fancy any of the headliners. Looking forward to seeing goat, FJM, Ohsees, Pulp etc.

What were his “ties with Trump”, was he a fan until now?

Kookooaramabama.

I think they are (or were) neighbours in Florida
