Some good bands but i think EOTR is better this year
BC, NR really let down by the font choice here
Those are some real disappointing headliners. Even the second line is not really it for me.
Disappointing headliners but stacked undercard for me, quite happy 7/10
It’s a solid line undercard, but very little for me to actually get excited about or that I might not see elsewhere. I’ll wait and see who’s on the Glastonbury line up, but may consider selling my ticket tbh
Ooh BC,NR vs Osees round 2!!
They do it on purpose, Lynn
Big Thief, J+MC, This is the Kit, Jess Willliamson, Sheer Mag, Tubs, Bar Italia all worth seeing.
Great to see Rachael Lavelle on that lineup. Best album of 2023.
This post paid for by PROF$.
Pretty big old meh from me. Loads in the undercard. But Big Thief and Julia Holter apart, the top of the billing is pretty naff tbh.
Actually quite pleased I don’t have a ticket.
I’d probably have a nice time at that if I went. I’d be giving Sleaford Mods the swerviest of swerves though.
Definitely no lack of stuff worth seeing, and I’ll have a great time if I go, I’m sure. For me it’s just if it’s enough to make we want to spend several hundred quid and another long weekend in a tent after Glastonbury there’s no a lot of big draws there for me
I’d undoubtedly have a really good time if I went and there’s plenty of good stuff, but there’s almost nothing that would thrill me there or be unmissable. I’ve no idea how Sleaford Mods are getting booked to headline these things, even when they got bumped up in the Covid year at EOTR it seemed a stretch.
Think after a few years running of it having the edge over EOTR and kinda looking like it was moving into a bigger league and budget, EOTR’s got the edge over it this year.
Meh for the headliners, but some quality stuff lower down (Metz, osees, John, lambrini girls)
I’m happy, plenty of stuff that I’ll enjoy seeing around volunteer shifts. Headliners aren’t my favourites but the rest sounds like a good time.
Yeah, I’d have no idea why Sleaford Mods would have stepped up to headliner status, even if they hadn’t come out very badly from their stance on Palestine. Didn’t like them anyway but after that it’s just really disappointing to see them get top billing.
Let’s be honest here, they’re a headliner because the line up is weak.
Got to say we’re very underwhelmed by that. Nothing I’m really excited about, headliners or undercard wise. Plenty of stuff I’m only half bothered about seeing. And also actually nothing my kids are going to want to see at all.
Blonde Redhead! But yeah, not mad about those headliners, and also a bit weird that This Is The Kit are playing again but not headlining? Heaps of stuff on the undercard though and great to see Julia Holter’s back.
I think it’s fair to say if people had seen the lineup first it would not have sold out in under 2 hours. There’s also probably plenty of people who didn’t manage to get tickets who will dig that lineup, or not care so much. So bar a massive exchange fo tickets there’s disappinted people all round
We would be tempted to sell ours (especially as we recently found out we can get some free tickets to camp bestival through a friend), but we are also supposed to be going to GM with some friends who might be quite gutted if we don’t
Didn’t John Maus (and Ariel Pink) out themselves as alt-right bros?
