I have one (1) drawer of pants/socks, one (1) drawer of t-shirts and long sleeves I cba ironing, and everything else gets hung, drawn and quartered in a wardrobe.
I have 3 pairs of shoes and 2 pairs of slippers that just generally fuck around.
Actually I’m lying I don’t even have a wardrobe now I’ve moved, I utilise one (1) clothing rail to hang items.
- 1 drawer socks
- 1 drawer boxers
- 1 neat stack of shoes and boots (8-10 pairs)
- 1 pile of all the rest of my clothes at the bottom of my bed
- 1 mostly empty wardrobe
- 1 mostly empty chest of drawers
im doing great
I have shirts and suits in a small wardrobe. Then a 3 drawer chest. So top drawer is socks. Middle drawer is pants and jumpers. Bottom drawer is tshirts. Then shorts and trousers on a chair
Shoes in some storage units in the porch (tbf, I have 2 pairs of trousers and a pair of boots). Hiking boots in the boiler room at the front of the house.
2 to 3 big piles
Ok but how do you organise your clothes?
1 drawer for pants
1 drawer for socks
2 for t-shirts - long short and even a few cut offs!
1 drawer for jumpers
1 drawer for old stuff i don’t wear but don’t want to throw away.
work shirt and trousers were hanging up but i took the rail down so now they are in one of the aforementioned drawers.
Trainers are kept anywhere they land in the front room.
outside of band shirts i don’t have many clothes to be fair.
1 basket thing for underwear & socks that lives in my bedside cabinet
2 drawers of a shared CoD with t-shirts, polos, shorts
Half a wardrobe +shelf for jumpers, trousers, shirts etc
Coats in the coat cupboard
Pyjamas/loungewear was in the drawer under the bed but we’ve got a new bed and now that drawer is living in the spare room at the moment
Shoes are in the wardrobe (irregular usage pairs) and by the front door (regular usage pairs)
Really badly so I just end up wearing the same few things constantly and then occasionally rediscover something and wear that for ages.
Three pullout boxes under bed for T-shirts/tops and jeans/trousers, two drawers in bottom of a tiny chest of drawers for pants socks/misc and a rail on wheels in bedroom cupboard for shirts and a suit. Trainers and sheaux live all over the place
Yeah I might get some of these
I think the only thing I want visible in my bedroom is my bed and a palpable sense of anguish.
I don’t own any drawers. Been thinking I should maybe buy some. There’s just a big chair, when stuff has dried on the maiden I just throw it all on there. We do own an iron, but I bought it in 2019 and it’s still in the box. I’d only iron something for a funeral, wedding, christening, maybe job interview.
please don’t sully this thread with ironing chat - thanks
My new place came with an iron. I’m not saying it was the clincher, but it makes me feel like a million dollars just knowing it’s there.
NO!
Can recommend these grey fellas
Small but you can squeeze a fair bit in them (one of them can fit about six pairs of my jeans along with four jumpers and five T-shirts)- before that we had two massive zip up monstrosities that weighed a ton and the zips broke.
jel
