Now we move on, to Taylor Swift
What’s the verdict then?
5/5.
I love all four of her albums.
Highs are pop perfection but there’s a lot of filler on the albums to my ears.

The amount of shit that Taylor Swift gets is:
Largely justified
Largely unjustified
Not a fan I appreciate that she has good songs but, not for me. Leave it at that.
3/5
Absolutely no idea what I’d rate her I realise.

As with the other pure pop artists on the list I’m gonna abstain from voting. Doesn’t do anything for me but I don’t wanna be the dude giving pop stars 1 or 2 stars as if I’m saying. “IT’S NOT PROPER MUSIC THOUGH IS IT?” No one likes that guy.
Do have a soft spot for ‘Shake It Off’ though.

Huge fan of 1989, think it’s brilliant. 5/5 for that alone.

Think it’s a 3 from me. Pretty ambivalent about her tbh but Shake It Off and Blank Space are very good.

Red, 1989 and Lover are all really really good records. Cannot wait for her to knock Glastonbury out of the park, gonna be huge.
Rate the way she engages with her fans and has continued to do so. Hyped for konichiwa_bitches’ posts itt btw

Not heard anything beyond the big singles - some of which seemed fine and some of which seemed pretty clunky.
Not qualified to vote but I like that she seems to bring a lot of joy to a lot of people,
Couldn’t be more not my thing unless there was free jazz as well.

Still 3 votes shy of the qualifying mark…
1989 is pretty much all killer, no filler. I actually quite like the bonkers Look What You Made Me Do. I quite like all the theatre that goes with her. And my impression is that she gets held up to a much higher degree of scrutiny than a similarly successful man.
Yeah 4/5
