Why particularly?
This wasn’t a “this is my most listened to” post, it was a Fast show meme about how I’ve listened to Weyes Blood, so tbh the more I think about it the more irked I am at the tedious thread policing
This is up there with when people tell other people off for posting a comic in the shit comics thread that was ACTUALLY already included 5,000 posts ago.

I am quite amused by the exchange above but I do think after a quick review that all the last fm threads should be merged into one - there are 21 threads with last fm in the title dating back to 2016 and the sum total of all the posts is less than 1k. Doesn’t matter if it is stats, general chat, polls, tools, whatever it should all be combined into one thread.
Obviously this is only my opinion and people are quite welcome to have other, wrong opinions about the matter, and I look forward to participating in the 2024 last.fm year end stats thread
with one or more of the approximately 37 replies it will receive.

Apologies for not getting the meme reference, just looked like your top songs of the year to me followed by a meme that didn’t mean anything to me. Just didn’t want people following with their own stats in this thread. Point of it is to discuss last.fm as a service. Complaints, praise, new features, etc. as it says. No different from how we have “general” Spotify threads to complain when we’re upset with it, and separate ones for yearly wrapped. Memes are fine, just thought it was an earnest “here are my top songs” post.

Any anger was tongue in cheek once I realised it doesn’t matter and nothing means anything, fwiw, no need to apologise. If anything, I should be apologising to you. But I’m not gonna.
