Music League 14 is upon us!
Here is the link… Music League
Music League in a nutshell…
Pick a track based on the theme. It goes into a playlist. We listen. We vote. We move up and down the league and get really narked by rules and details.
Some of the previous winners haven’t sent round ideas yet.

The people have (kind of) spoken. As it’s a draw I’ll be Shirley and choose the winner.
My choice of round is:
‘A song where some (or all) of the lyrics are in a different language to the song title’.
Thanks as ever for running @Brainfreeze . I’ll be in for the the next one.

Tempted to try a bit harder this time, but at the same time I have such a stupid one for Crime and Punishment that it’s going to be hard not to play it.

I wouldn’t have thought it electronic before reading that. Thinking more boogie-woogie piano and roots country. Bar-room boogie as well.

My initial assumption for boogie was ‘things that make you dance’

Same, never heard of an electronic boogie genre.
Does the league name deliberately not have an apostrophe in its name to rile up the pedants? Asking for a pedant.

It’s a good name, I’m hanging on to ‘I can’t league if leagueing is without you’ for if I’m ever called upon to name a league (big if)
