I thought Come On Die Young was meant to be the name of a gang.
From the wiki.
The albumâs title derives from a Glasgow gang of the same name.

love the idea that Raekwon the Chef, hardened OG gangster rapper, just wanted to write a song about how much he loves ice cream. suppose the name doesnât help ![]()
The track called that on the album. It took me a long time to realise it was an acronym for the album title.
I love Let Go by Nada Surf
Dunno why I posted the link, I wouldnât recommend anyone listens to that
I donât think you should use things like first time you kissed a girl as historical markers, personally. Not sure itâs healthy x

That you donât pronounce âWenceslasâ as Wence-lass. If I ever actually read the words to Good King Wenceslas then I guess it was at Primary school so maybe I just forgot in the meantime or I wasnât paying attention. Or we just never actually did this one in a Christmas assembly.
Either way I always assumed the first line was
Good King Wenceslas last looked out
and therefore, like Worcestershire, this was one of those names where we pronounce fewer syllables than we see.
yeah i thought it was this for most of my life. no idea what the song is wanging on about to this day though tbh
Some guy called Stephen who loves logs I dunno
Actually scrub that, it was from Anne Of Green Gables
TBH I always assumed Idlewild were named after that airport too!
Iirc corectly itâs the meeting place (in a forest or something), it had been Roddyâs fave book when he was younger.
I always thought the name really suited how they sounded in the early days.
I was today years old when I found out Courtney from Spiritbox was in iwrestledabearonce.
