Name a UK town/city with population over 150,000 that hasn't delivered a good band/artist.

The silly Manchester talk in the controversial thread inspired this. I reckon any town/city in the UK with a 150,000 population has delivered at least one good musical artist/band.

I haven’t given this much thought.

PROVE ME WRONG!

How are we defining “good”? Like does a quality band that never really got beyond their local scene count or are we talking a band that achieved some sort of commerical and recognisable success at least nationally who may or may not be as good “quality” wise? Does it need to be both?

Years & Years were OK for a bit.

Huddersfield, particularly when you consider the wealth of bands from nearby Bradford and Leeds.
