shame as there was a decent player there at various points. just a liability, unprofessional etc really begs the question of how much support clubs should give players when they break rules etc
Wigan profiteered off the back of Cas’s loss but at some stage it must upset the dressing room as well
yeah I think in particular when you bring in elite level players from the southern hemisphere like Field, Cust and French then not only does that put Hardaker’s place at risk but it also shows a statement of intent for a higher level of quality and professionalism and having Hardaker snorting coke, drink driving, and being a general pain in the neck at training (allegedly, according to one of the Warriors players I know quite well) meant he ran out of lives and chances. He’s been shopping for a move for a while and no one has been particularly keen so it’s basically downed tools the last few weeks.
“Come on, lads, obviously i meant Paul Deacon’s drop goal at Old Trafford. The memorable one that year. Made it a three score deficit. And Bloody Mary’s slang for a pint of Tetley’s”
Good day yesterday at the magic weekend. Thought all 3 games had something. The Wigan v Saints was a classic with some outstanding tries. Rhinos looked really impressive when they turned it on in the second half. Wakey look a bit doomed at the moment with Toulouse having all the momentum.
I think Catalans will be too strong for Wire today, but difficult to predict the other 2. Fancy Salford v Hudds to be a bit of a try fest.
