Bit disappointing this, in the past itā€™s been Janelle, Arcade Fire, Elbow, The National etc, donā€™t think Iā€™d fancy any of these.
Probably for another thread, but Foals have fallen off a cliff havenā€™t they? Whatā€™s happened there?

I quite like part 1 of the double album but, yeah part 2 is not great.

Anyway the never ending popularity of The Courteeners will perplex me to the end of time. Donā€™t know a single person who likes them but, always sell out everywhere in Manchester and North of Birmingham. Iā€™m sure there have been multiple think pieces on this phenomenon down the years.

I do know a few who like them, and tbh, theyā€™ve got a couple of decent tunes, but Iā€™m likewise baffled by how big they are.

Think maybe Foalsā€™ two-albums-in-a-year experiment backfired a bit. Itā€™s meant there was less of a media focus on one album, and neither really had a big smash or festival-friendly single unlike the previous record. Itā€™s almost like they spread themselves out a bit too thin.

Theyā€™re still doing well on their own tours but itā€™s a really bad look to be subbing Liam Gallagher at festivals at this point in their career.
