I reckon the Golden Globes dividing between Drama and Comedy/Musical still gives her a lot of work to do. Am still expecting it to go to Kidman, Jolie or Mikey Maddison but this makes it an even more interesting race now.
I think Mikey Madison is still the main competition, at this point hard to know if the Globes are a outlier or are the canary in the coalmine. I do think Moore will do very well with the non-US Academy members who might be more well-disposed to a film like The Substance.
If Moore wins she’d be the sixth oldest Best Actress winner ever (and one of the five ahead of her was back in 1931)
