(counting Marriage Story as a December film as that’s when it goes on general release)

Last Christmas

Mid90s is on Netflix now

Knives Out

Maybe a bit too pleased with itself, but it’s a hoot to watch with a great final shot. Surprised Rian Johnson didn’t just go the whole hog and name Toni Collette’s character Gwyneth.

As mentioned by @anon3515918 in the November thread, here’s me starting up best of the decade thread - get arguing/voting!

Right, this thread. Sorry.

The Nightingale is a fuckin masterpiece.

Am I alone in thinking James Bond finally managed to pick a font as shoddy as the series?

Gosh that is bad, waay too overdone. The left part of the “M” looks like an A to me, the “Die” contains the II pause sign, and both “E”s have a toppled-over Triforce in them.

Stop posting in the November thread damn it!

@moderators please close the November 2019 film thread, thanks

Angel Heart (1987) - Not good and Deniro’s fingernails are too long.

Angel Heart is very good

I used to like you.

(True story, my wife and I watched this shortly after watching The Wrestler and she initially didn’t believe me that it was Rourke in Angel Heart!)
