really good isn’t it

i’m always trying to get more into jazz but only some albums land for me, this is one that does. it’s wild and frenetic but it still has hooks and looping basslines keeping it grounded. love when that chant of the album title comes in on track 1

Tried it after the HGATR but honestly it feels like I must be getting something different to what everyone else gets on Spotify when I press play because I didn’t even make it through the first track.

Not heard this one. I like some jazz an awful lot.

Tried it numerous times and hated it each time. One of those albums I’ve accepted I’ll never understand.

Normally really don’t like jazz but I listened to this recently during the HGATR and I absolutely fucking love it. 10/10.

I like it mostly for Elvin Jones’s drumming. I could listen to just that on its own.
