Don’t think I’ve listened to it in full in at least ten years. Must dig out Malkmus’ throwaway description of it in the Pavement biography, he doesn’t think much of it either.

Despite living with a huuuuge Pavement fan I’m not sure I’ve ever listened to this one.

It’ll have to have some proper MONSTER tracks on it to approach being as loved by me as Terror Twilight, Brighten the Corners and Wowee Zowee.

10/10, though not quite the best Pavement album. First album of theirs I got in to, which perhaps explains why I hold it in higher esteem than some. FWIW: Zowee > Crooked Rain > Slanted > Corners > Terror.

Actually looking at the track listing I think it must be Slanted I’ve not heard. I certainly know a lot of the songs, but I never reach for it.

Not my favourite Pavement album but still an easy 10. Love it and have so many good memories associated with it. Makes me a bit sad tbh, lost youth and all that.

Most consistent Pavement album, maybe not my favourite but probably the one I’d reach for if I felt like listening to Pavement.

As mentioned, hit the plane down is annoying and the only blemish.
